Why I Love Your Beautiful Bones — and Why You Should Too

Let me say something that might surprise you:
💛 I love your bones. Every single one of them. Actually, if you know me well, that statement likely will not surprise you at all.

Yes, I love your bones. Not in a cheesy, Hallmark way—but in a deep, scientific, reverent, sisterhood kind of way. Your bones are part of what make you strong, resilient, and able to show up fully in your body every day. They support your spine when you carry the weight of the world. They allow you to run after your kids, pick up groceries, dance in the kitchen, and get out of bed without wincing.

But here’s the problem…
Most women don’t start caring about their bone health until it’s too late.
By the time we hear words like osteopenia or osteoporosis, we’re already in crisis mode.

I want to change that.

🦴 The Silent Strength of Your Bones

Your bones aren’t just scaffolding—they’re living, dynamic tissue. They’re constantly breaking down and rebuilding in a process called remodeling. But by your mid-30s (yes, that early!), that rebuilding starts to slow.

By the time we hit perimenopause or menopause, the drop in estrogen accelerates bone loss. Women can lose up to 20% of their bone density in just 5–7 years after menopause. And often, we don’t know it’s happening until we fracture something doing something as ordinary as stepping off a curb.

🚫 But Here’s What I Don’t Want for You:

  • I don’t want you avoiding movement because of fear.

  • I don’t want you waking up stiff and fragile when you’re meant to feel strong and steady.

  • I don’t want you being told “it’s just part of aging” and to sit still and hope for the best.

✅ What I Do Want for You:

  • To fall in love with intentional movement—because it builds both muscle and bone.

  • To learn how nutrition (yes, calcium and vitamin D, but also protein, magnesium, and K2!) can support your skeletal strength.

  • To understand how impact and strength-based movement is non-negotiable for maintaining bone density as we age. Don't worry, I specialize in creating these moments for you in a non-intimidating, non-burpee type of space.

  • To feel informed and empowered to advocate for yourself—whether that’s asking for a DEXA scan, or knowing when to say no to medications that don’t align with your values.

✨ Your Bones Are Beautiful—Even If You’ve Never Thought About Them

They hold your story.
They adapt to the way you move and live.
And they’re worth investing in—now, not later.

That’s why inside the Strong & Steady Her membership, I include bone-density focused movement sequences, weekly recipes that reduce inflammation (a major bone thief!), and educational modules that explain the “why” behind everything we do.

This is not about being fragile.
It’s about being fortified.

🧠 If You Take Away One Thing, Let It Be This:

It’s easier to preserve bone density than it is to rebuild it.
Start now. Nourish now. Strengthen now.
Not because you’re afraid of osteoporosis—but because you love this body you’re living in.

And your bones?
They’re worth every bit of that love.

With strength & steadiness,
